Wilkinsons to open store in Devizes, England
Wilkinsons, a UK-based discount chain selling primarily homewares and household goods, is set to unveil a new location in Devizes, England on 1 March 2012.
The retailer has taken over the former Somerfield supermarket and has been renovating the building since before Christmas, reported thisiswiltshire.co.uk.
As part of new store opening, the company will offer free cake to first 50 shoppers through the doors. In addition, there will be a charity raffle for a food hamper in aid of Age UK, Wilkinsons' charity of the year.
The Devizes store manager Chris Harbury said the whole team has worked hard to ensure everything is perfect for the store launch.
The company operates more than 335 retail outlets and about four million customers visit its shops every week.
